Dallas Pride Parade 2006:
The theme of our 'float' was peace in every language. Leading our group was Jennifer's Blue Smiley, the blue VW
New Beetle. Bringing up the rear was Rev. Charlene's jeep. Bothe vehicles had been decked out in Smileys and magnets
the said peace in many different languages. Mark had made a rainbow cross to put on top of Blue Smiley.
Jennifer and Rev. Charlene drove their vehicles while everyone else walked between them. Mark ran around the group waving
the rainbow Christian flag. Everyone had a lot of fun despite the rainy weather.

Jennifer and Angie's Holy Union
On March 10, 2007 Jennifer and Angie held their Holy Union at the church. Stephen Boren officiated. The event
was well attended by family and friends. The old sanctuary was decorated elaboratly for the occasion.

Church in the Park
On June 7, 2009 the church gathered at Teaque Park. We celebrated the beginning of pride month with a lot of singing
of praise and worship music. Stephen brought a great message on being open and receptive to God. Then we
shared some cupcakes and juice. Everyone had a great time and we had several new people visit with us.

The Icemaker
June 24, 2009 the church purchased an Icemaker for Woodland Christian Church. It was our way of saying thanks for
their hospitatlity and use of their facilities. We had overheard one of the ladies mention that it was the only thing
that they really wanted and hadn't been able to get after building their new church. We were able to get it to them
in time so they could use it on the last day of Vacation Bible School. The kids were served snow cones. The church
members were very excited to receive it, especially Ms. Nancy who 'runs' the kitchen. Here is a picture of her
showing it off and a picture of Nelda delivering it.
